Meet The clinic Founder

Lindsay Seefeldt
Dr. Lindsay Seefeldt’s story begins on a dairy farm in the small town of Bangor, just outside La Crosse, Wisconsin. As a farmer’s daughter, Lindsay grew up with early lessons in hard work, responsibility, and the importance of family support. From milking cows to feeding calves, tending horses, and helping with household chores, her childhood instilled in her a strong work ethic and an appreciation for teamwork—values that continue to guide her professional life today.
While her upbringing shaped her resilience, Lindsay knew during high school that farming was not her future. Drawn to helping people, she pursued physical therapy, a field that combined science, compassion, and hands-on care. She graduated from Carroll University in 2008 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, launching a career that would evolve into a life’s mission. During her time at Carroll, she also met her husband, and together they built a family with four children while building their careers.
Lindsay began practicing in an outpatient therapy setting near Green Bay, Wisconsin, where she helped patients recover from surgeries, injuries, illnesses, and chronic pain. She thrived in this environment, finding deep fulfillment in guiding people back to their daily lives. Yet, in 2014, her career took a transformative turn when she became a certified lymphedema therapist. Through this work, she discovered not only her love for hands-on therapy but also the profound healing power of human touch. Many of her patients were cancer survivors or individuals undergoing treatment, and Lindsay realized she wanted to do more to serve this unique population.
Her search for deeper knowledge led her to PORi (Physiological Oncology Rehabilitation Institute) in Denver, Colorado. Beginning in 2019, she undertook an intensive three-year program to specialize in oncology rehabilitation. She achieved certifications in breast cancer, pelvic and gastrointestinal cancers, head and neck cancers, and chemotoxicity—expertise that allows her to tailor safe and effective exercise programs based on the effects of various chemotherapy drugs. This training elevated her ability to not only address physical symptoms but also to empower patients with tools for long-term resilience and recovery.
As Lindsay worked with oncology patients, she repeatedly heard the same questions: “Why didn’t I know about this sooner?” and “Why don’t more people have access to this care?” These comments highlighted a gap in awareness and accessibility, motivating her to create something new. She envisioned a place where oncology rehabilitation and lymphatic health were not only available but central to healing. That vision became Uplifted—a clinic dedicated to bridging that gap, educating communities, and making specialized care approachable for anyone touched by cancer.
Today, Lindsay Seefeldt is more than a physical therapist—she is an advocate, educator, and founder with a mission to bring hope and healing to individuals navigating cancer and survivorship. Her journey from farm life to healthcare reflects the same perseverance and dedication she now brings to her patients. Through Uplifted, Lindsay continues to uplift lives, ensuring that no one feels resources for recovery are out of reach.
